Dear friends,
I’ve been toying with the idea of unifying my online presence – my creative writing and my professional communication blogs – under a common site in my name for a while now. And while it still isn’t 100% possible, I’m getting there. “Langsam aber sicher”, as they say in Germany.
The old theme of the site, though colorful and fun, no longer represented who I am at this stage in my life. I hope you won’t find the new design too solemn; I like things clean, minimalistic and classical – and this sleek layout reminds me of a good, old-fashioned literary magazine, back in the days of black-and-white, where we could still flip physical pages and smell the actual ink on our fingertips.
Ink4thought is still about reading, thinking, and questioning, but now it’s also a little bit more about me and my creative writing journey. Now that I have immersed myself in the adventure of actually getting published, I felt the need for a more holistic and grown-up personal website I can present to potential agents and readers. Not to worry, I intend to pepper my posts with dabs of bright color, mostly in the form of pictures, photographs, and related social media posts, to give you all a more immersive experience. I’ve also added features for more direct engagement. My hope is you’ll still enjoy your visit on this blog, which from now on you can also reach at https://andreeasepi.com.
